At its June 2017 meeting, the HACSU Committee of Management made an increase to union dues.

This increase will come into place from FFPP 1 July 2017.

In mindfulness of challenging economic conditions for many Members, and due to prudent financial management by the union, increases have been kept to a bare minimum.

We’ve outlined below what this increase means for members – you’ll see it’s a very small amount.

Members working fewer than 10 hours per week:

The average dues increase is $0.20 per fortnight.

Members working 10-19.9 hours per week:

The average dues increase is $0.40 per fortnight.

Members working 20 hours or more per week:

The average dues increase is $0.65 per fortnight.
