Protected Action Ballot - postal vote likely!

HACSU has applied to the Fair Work Commission to undertake a Protected Action Ballot. This means you will get to vote about whether you agree or not to taking action at some point in the future.

A Yes vote doesn't lock in a particular course of action, but a No vote prevents you from undertaking the action, so we are asking you to vote Yes to eachquestion ontained in the ballot.

The Australian Electoral Commission conducts a secret ballot of our members, and do this via a postal vote, so it's crucial you confirm we have your correct postal address as we provide the AEC with your details for the ballot.

If you think we may have your postal address wrong, for example have you moved in the last 5 years, please confirm your address by emailing it with your name to assist@hacsu.org.au or by phoning us on 1300 880 032 by 11am on 24 December.

We still need to consult with you and give the employer notice before you can take action after a Yes vote is confirmed.

For more information about this or any other industrial matter, members should contact HACSUassist on 1300 880 032 or email assist@hacsu.org.au or complete our online contact form
