Workloads still unacceptable

It looks like Healthscope are putting your new agreement out to vote in coming weeks without fixing the totally unacceptable workload issues you’ve been raising for the last 18 months.

No amount of money they offer is going to address workload, and them thinking the $1250 sign-on will make up for the lack of staff is just a slap in the face for you.

Don’t forget those dollars are only if you work 38 hours per week, otherwise you’ll just be paid a pro rata amount based on your 2021 contracted hours of work, so it’ll be far less for some.

We were told Healthscope will be committed to establishing a pool of AINs, but we’re not sure how that’s working as they’ve advised me they’ve employed 3 casual AINs already…

We can understand your frustration, and voting NO to this new offer will prolong the process, but what do you have to lose?

Remember you have the power. Just imagine what can be achieved by standing together and getting Healthscope back to the table to finally fix these issues.

We’ll be visiting you regularly over the next few weeks so we can chat about what this new offer means to you, but if we don’t catch up and you have any questions please give us a call on 1300 880 032 or email assist@hacsu.org.au.
