The results are in from the vote for your new agreement, and 97% of staff voted yes.

From here, your new agreement goes to the Fair Work Commission for approval. Once Fair Work signs it off, then your pay rise will take effect and your backpay will be paid. That should happen in January 2024.

But we have some great news for you on backpay!

HACSU have been in negotiations with Calvary to get at least part of this amount paid early, before Christmas – and I’m pleased to let you know that Calvary have confirmed today that the backpay for the period before 1 July 2023 will be processed on 22 December this year! (Note that once it’s processed it may still take a day to hit your bank account.)

The rest of your backpay will go through after Fair Work approve your agreement.
