Let's vote yes to action

We recently met with Calvary’s high-paid corporate negotiators to dive deep into the details of their proposed workload clause that they put forward during their last meeting.

Unfortunately, Calvary has chosen to turn a blind eye to your rightful concerns about their clause. This means Calvary retain complete discretion and face no consequences if they fail to meet their own staffing levels.

But that’s not all – Calvary have also shown no willingness to improve their miserly 3% pay offer, which is a huge pay cut for workers in real terms.

The time has come to take action! Our protected industrial action ballot will open at 9am on Tuesday 19 September. Make sure that you check your email or mobile phone for the login details and vote YES for industrial action.

If we stand together as a union, we can take on your employer and make Calvary a better place to work for all of you.

In the interim, we are joining ANMF nurses as they take industrial action today at 2:15 and 2:30 tomorrow at Calvary Lenah Valley and St Vincents.  We encourage you to come along to support your colleagues during your break or outside of your shift.
