We're celebrating Disability Workers Week from 5 December through to 11 December this year, highlighting the invaluable work of everyone working in the disability services sector around Tasmania.

The pandemic has brought a lot of attention to hospitals and aged care, but disability workers are still far too often overlooked compared to other frontline workers, so we're saying it loud and clear: Disability workers are essential workers!

To thank all disability support workers, we'll be visiting workplaces, running BBQs and holding other community events throughout Disability Workers Week.

We'll also be handing out scratchies to give disability workers the chance to win one of three main prizes – $600, $300 and $150 in your choice of Coles or Woolies gift cards.

On top of that, there will be multiple $50 gift cards up for grabs, as well as a second chance draw of $300 which will be drawn on 17 December.
