Make sure you come along!

Are you a student who will be entering the professional workforce or a young worker who just started your first job? Do you want to learn about your rights when it comes to unpaid internships, wage theft or casualisation? Do you know about your rights at work in general and the role of unions?

Unions Tasmania and the Tasmanian University Student Association are teaming up to bring you Pizza Nights for Student Rights to help you answer these questions and many more!

With an expert panel discussion and Q&A covering the above topics and more, this event provides an exciting opportunity for students to get to know your rights and network with some of Tasmania’s biggest union representatives.

Feel free to bring your friends and fellow students who share your interests. The panel Q&A will be followed by free pizza and some drinks.

This event will be held in a teleconferencing capable theatre, so you can attend in person or online! Here are the details:

• What: Pizza Nights for Student Rights

• When: Meeting 5pm for a 5.30pm start

• Where: The Old TUU Bookstore in the TUSA Building (across Churchill Avenue, opposite the Campus), on the University of Tasmania’s Sandy Bay Campus
