Keep wearing your badges!

As we get ready for our next stop work action, it is essential that you stick together and follow all bans including wearing campaign badges, rejecting overtime and distributing information to clients, the public and the media - we’re only powerful when we’re united and we need everyone on board to win this fight.

Healthscope currently thinks that nurses are not serious about your protected industrial action as not everyone even wears a badge, and they're taking this as another excuse to keep ignoring your concerns and demands.

The flyers are a great tool and we’ve had incredible responses from patients, their family members and also from family of nurses.

We regularly post these on social media and encourage you to follow the HACSU Facebook page to read the feedback and the support you're getting from the public.

Healthscope clearly don't like this type of public image, and the last thing they want is to lose their patients and potential clients – then they won’t be able to “skyrocket” their profit.

We know that wearing badges and handing out flyers can be forgotten in your daily tasks, but it can have a big impact on Healthscope and help you to achieve better working conditions in the end, so it would be great if you can remind yourself and your colleagues to keep up the bans when you’re at work.

Please get in touch with your delegates or HACSUassist if you need more campaign materials, and please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
