March and street party on 15 May.

You’re invited to celebrate May Day with us on Saturday 15 May!

May Day is the union movement’s day to celebrate all that we have won and continue to fight for – minimum wages, superannuation, paid leave, work health and safety… to name just a few.

This year, ACTU President Michele O’Neil is joining Tasmanian unionists on this special day.

Let’s share our union solidarity and mark the day by marching loud and proud.

We’ll march around the CBD and return to Victoria Street where there will be a free sausage sizzle, hot and cold drinks for purchase and plenty of free activities for the kids including a jumping castle, face painting, pinatas and balloon animals!

What: May Day March and Street Party
When: 11.30am to 3pm, Saturday 15 May
Where: Victoria St (Behind the CPSU offices),Hobart
RSVP: Unions Tasmania May Day March

We’ll gather from 11.30am to kick off the march at 12 noon.

This will be a COVID safe event. Entry is free but you need to register.
