CRU rosters: Don't respond

If you got a letter, either don't respond at all or say, "Please talk to HACSU, my representatives on this matter."

At last week’s membership meeting we discussed a few things, including the CRU roster dispute.

In an extremely provocative move AT wrote to each staff member in a completely unacceptable way and hasn’t responded to us at all - we see this as unfair, capricious behaviour.

This action tries to undermine the principle, and your legal right, to be represented by a union.

If you got a letter demanding your individual response either don’t respond at all or say to your manager, ‘please talk to HACSU, my representatives in this matter’.

If you’ve already responded but wish to change your position, simply say, ‘I wish to continue to work on the CRU and you should discuss this matter with HACSU’.

We’ve informed AT that members are engaging in industrial action and will not work 12-hour day shifts whilst this dispute is unresolved.

For more information about this or any other industrial matter, members should contact HACSUassist on 1300 880 032 or email assist@hacsu.org.au or complete our online contact form
