We're having meetings state-wide to chat about NEPTS

It’s been a while since we caught up and we know there are plenty of things in the NEPTS world to talk about.

We’re keen to get a process in place where issues impacting PTS workers are dealt with in a timely manner by ambulance management. We also want to talk about ways to better utilise our resources and come up with a plan together.

We’ll also be discussing some other important topics, such as induction, changes in NEPTS policies, training and professional development, proper utilisation of the escalation policy, fatigue policy, dedicated NEPTS management, and how NEPTS workers can be more and better integrated into the ambulance service.

We’ll be holding meetings at several ambulance stations across the region. Here are the details:

• Latrobe – Tuesday 4 April at 10am

• Burnie – Tuesday 4 April at 1pm

• Launceston – Wednesday 5 April at 4pm

• Hobart – Thursday 6 April at 4pm

We encourage all NEPTS workers to come to a meeting in your area. For those who are interested, information about joining HACSU will be available on the day.

If you need more information, please contact us on 1300 880 032 or at assist@hacsu.org.au

Looking forward to seeing you all there!
