It's time you got the one you need.

Your AHP Executive and other super HACSU AHP members have worked hard to create a log of claims that will deliver measurable change to the working lives of allied and other health professionals across the State Service. We’ve consolidated the issues raised by our Allied Health discussion paper and close analysis relating to demand, supply and value into claims for direct improvement.

The attached draft log of claims and proposed classification structure would modernise employment arrangements, address structural bottlenecks, provide clear and definable career paths and different streams and bring Tasmania in line with the most contemporary comparable jurisdictions.

Our claim looks to strengthen work life balance provisions including wage rates, improve workload management and give us all the ability to analyse relevant data around worker numbers and demands. We also want wholesale change and investment in AHP Educators and improved access and transparency around professional development.

We’ll be out and about in coming weeks to talk to you about the claim and what you can do to get involved in negotiations and the campaign for better conditions for you and your workmates, so keep an eye out for meeting invites soon.
