We recently received a resignation from Marcus Barton from his position as President of the HACSU Dental Officer Sub-branch Executive. We sincerely want to thank Marcus for his professional and committed application to the role and his strong representation of dental officers. We should all be proud of the work he performed in his role.

We are now calling for nominations for the position of President from eligible HACSU Dental Officer Sub-branch members

The role of being an Executive member includes:

• Representing the individual and collective views of HACSU members in your area, including in consultative committees.

• Ensuring that HACSU members are kept informed and involved in issues affecting them.

• Establishing effective communication with and on behalf of members.

• Recruiting new members.

• Undertaking delegate training modules.

• Assisting your union to remain an effective voice for members.
