If you want to find out who’s currently on the WHS committee at Leap and are interested in joining the committee, here’s what your compliance officer, Chantel Murray, has said in an email to staff:

"Your current committee members are available to assist you and take feedback on any concerns you have regarding OH& S issues. The committee members are Yarnie Wiffen, Stephen Smith and Jane Foote. Yarnie, Stephen and Jane will be, from the start of next year attending some staff meetings each so that you all have the chance to get to know them and provide any feedback.

Additionally consider if this is a role that you would like to be involved in moving forward. We would like to see another 3 to 4 staff engaging in the committee so that we can really affect change where it is needed. More will be announced after the new year, with plan being to call for Nominations in March, with the elected new members starting with the existing committee in April."

Work health and safety is everyone's business, so if you are interested in getting involved, make sure you put in an expression of interest once nominations are called for.
