HACSU has joined Community Voice on Pokies Reform.

Poker Machines cost too many Tasmanians their health, relationships, job or home.

One in three Tasmanians knows someone seriously harmed by gambling on poker machines. Four out of five Tasmanians want poker machines reduced in number or totally removed from pubs and clubs.

State Parliament is considering the future of poker machines in Tasmania right now, so it’s time to act. Our goals are simple:

  • Get poker machines out of community venues like pubs and clubs.
  • Make sure that poker machines that remain in casinos are properly regulated to be safe and fair.

We have a unique opportunity to stop a new license being issued for poker machines in pubs and clubs,  which means we can get them out of our community.

Click here to sign the Open Letter to the Premier and then send emails to your local State MPs.

Together we can show politicians that Tasmanians want change.
