Ask the Crossbenchers to vote no!

You've probably heard of the Morrison Government’s IR Omnibus Bill, a piece of legislation designed to attack your rights at work. If it becomes law it'll make it harder for you to negotiate decent wages and conditions and result in more insecure work.

Here's a quick fact sheet that outlines some of the most concerning elements of the Bill.

The Morrison Government wants to pass the Bill as early as next week, and to do that they need the crossbench senators to vote in favour of it.

The four key crossbenchers who have the deciding vote are Jackie Lambie, Pauline Hanson, Malcom Roberts and Sterling Griff.

This is where you and I come in because if we want to stop the Bill we must tell the crossbench senators to reject it and stand up for workers like you.

Every single one of us is important, your voice will make a difference, and you can send a message to these key crossbenchers or post on social media and tag them. We know they're especially active on Facebook and Twitter.

John Howard’s WorkChoices stripped many workers’ rights, and we've fought for over a decade to get ground back, so we can’t sit back and let Scott Morrison take more from us.

We’re running out of time. This is our last chance to take action and stop the Bill - so ask the crossbenchers to vote no!
