With Delegates Conference coming up next week, we just wanted to remind you about the event.

Registration opens at 10.30am on Thursday 2 November, so make sure you’re there in time to register and pick up your t-shirt and conference pack before we kick off at 11am sharp.

Check-in to accommodation will be available in the afternoon and our annual Conference dinner is Thursday night - so don’t forget your dinner clothes!

We’re also collecting welcome packs for Magnolia Place this year, who provide crisis care for young people and women leaving violence or facing homelessness.

Many arriving at Magnolia will have little in personal belongings to give them comfort, and it can be an extremely stressful experience. To help with this transition Magnolia Place provides a welcome pack.

Magnolia Place welcome packs can include these items:

• Pyjamas

• Socks

• Hairbrushes

• Hair bands

• Bodywash

• Shampoo/conditioner

• Deodorant

• Notebooks

• Pens

• Puzzles

• Diaries

• Calendars

• Adult colouring-in and mindfulness books, pencils, paints, brushes and craft activities

Some extra items you can include for kids are:

• Colouring-in books and pencils

• Craft activities

• Puzzles

• Card games

• Dress up costumes

• Quality toys such as dolls, Barbies, trucks and Lego

• Vouchers such as Kids Paradise, Aquatic Centre, Village Cinemas, Launceston Entertainment Centre or Beta Park (Bouldering)

If you can help, please bring your welcome pack in a reusable shopping bag and drop it off to us at the registration table in the morning - you'll be helping out some of our community's most vulnerable.

We look forward to seeing you in a week when we all get together for another exciting conference! If you have any more questions in the meantime, please call or email us.
