We're here to help

If you’re a HACSU member and you’re called into a meeting with management to discuss your working conditions, you have the right to union representation.

The meeting could be about hours, workload, rosters, disciplinary action, or any other issue that affects you at work.

Most workplace agreements usually require your boss talk to you before doing things like changing your roster or statement of duties – but we’ve helped hundreds of members over the years who haven’t had this process followed through by their management.

We suggest calling HACSUassist before going to any meeting, and we can even come along and help you through the process if you need it.

Sitting down with one of our HACSU organisers beforehand means we can look together at the issue and plan for what kind of outcome you’d like beforehand – we know it’s saved a lot of our members from going in blind.

HACSUassist offers support and guidance for all HACSU members, and calls are confidential. Make sure you give us a call on 1300 880 032 to find out more.

For more information about this or any other industrial matter, members should contact HACSUassist on 1300 880 032 or email assist@hacsu.org.au or complete our online contact form
