From today, 30 March we will be opening the HACSUassist line from 8am to 8pm to give you more opportunity to talk to an organiser about what’s happening in your workplace and what we can do to help you through this time, along with any workplace issues you may have.
Our offices (Hobart, Launceston and Devonport) will be closed to members from 5pm today, however our administration staff are still available to assist you with membership enquiries and holiday home cancellations through the HACSUassist line (from 8.30am to 5pm).
Unfortunately, site visits are limited due to social distancing and because of other restrictions, we can’t have meetings the way we did before COVID-19.
Instead, we will be consistently in touch with you via email, social media, our website and through your delegates on the ground. All HACSU staff will continue to work with you over coming months.
It’s a tough time for everyone, but together we will get through it. Being union is all about sticking together and being stronger for it.
Please get in touch if you need us.
In line with today’s announcement from Premier Peter Gutwein, our holiday homes will closed from midnight tonight. If you have a booking between now and the end of June, our holiday homes officer will be in touch with you to discuss your options over the next couple of days.
Our primary focus at HACSU is to protect you and your rights at work, but we also provide other benefits that you may find helpful during this time.
