Get in touch and we can help

We’ve heard a number of worrying reports that some nurses haven’t received their professional development allowance (PDA) for this year.

In line with the Award, you’re supposed to be paid your PDA from the first full pay period on or after 1 May. The allowance is paid to acknowledge the necessity of maintaining your nationally accredited registration.

If you haven’t been paid your PDA, please contact us on 1300 880 032 or send an email to assist@hacsu.org.au and let us know which ward you work on, so that we can follow this up with management and address the issue.

We won’t let this matter slide. If management fail to address this concern, we’ll talk with you about steps we can take.

For more information about this or any other industrial matter, members should contact HACSUassist on 1300 880 032 or email assist@hacsu.org.au or complete our online contact form
