Over the past few weeks, ward clerks at the North West Regional Hospital have been taking action to fight back against duty stacking and to be respected for the vital role that they play in our hospital.  

The action included work bans on doing jobs that were beyond your scope of duties and listing these extra jobs to take to management. We were also able to get a review in place with Maxine to address these issues.

After your action and after further talks with the Department, Paula Hyland has agreed that we need to do something once and for all to stop duty stacking for NWRH ward clerks.
