RHH Pharmacy - here's what you need to know

Since our membership meeting last week, we’ve told the Department that union members have endorsed taking industrial action indefinitely from next Monday 26 June – unless the Department commit to giving all affected workers all the relevant information for your meal break audits (whether still in progress or not) by this Friday.

Although the Department have given some workers calculations on how much they’re owed for meal breaks, we’ve heard that there are plenty of inconsistencies in the figures and they haven’t provided breakdowns to show how anything has been calculated. Unfortunately, that’s pretty unsurprising.

It’s unacceptable that the Department have kept dropping the ball on these audits and payments. It’s blatant wage theft and it’s gone on for far too long.

They need to rectify their mistakes urgently and give you clear, concise information so you can be confident they’ve paid you everything you’re rightfully owed.

Our industrial action will begin with wearing campaign badges and handing out fliers to patients – we’ll work out the details together shortly.

We’ll keep you updated, but in the meantime please get in touch on 1300 880 032 or assist@hacsu.org.au if you have any questions.

For more information about this or any other industrial matter, members should contact HACSUassist on 1300 880 032 or email assist@hacsu.org.au or complete our online contact form
