We met with Parkside yesterday to start negotiations for your new agreement.

During the meeting, we presented the log of claims – your collective wishlist outlining the improvements you're seeking for your wages and working conditions.

Parkside brought up some questions regarding specific claims and said they’ll provide a more detailed response during our next meeting scheduled for 20 September.

We’ll be particularly interested in hearing what they have to say about payment when a client cancels – because we’ve heard from workers that currently Parkside is not paying you properly for this.

We told them in no uncertain terms that you need an increased travel allowance, fair payment in the event of client cancellations, broken shift allowances, and the double time payment for Sundays.

We’ll update you on the progress of negotiations for your agreement after each meeting, so keep an eye out for emails and keep chatting with your colleagues about the bargaining.

If any of your colleagues are not members, now is a great time to be a part of the collective and send a strong message to Parkside that we're a force to be reckoned with.
