We’ve heard that genU are proposing a complete roster restructure at several houses and intend to force you to work new hours – whether you agree or not.

This is unlawful. Your employer cannot force you to work a new roster without your written agreement. If you’re unhappy with the changes, do not sign any variation of your contract or new rosters. Instead, come and have a chat with us.

If you feel pressured by genU to accept changes to your roster, please let us know immediately. We will fight tooth and nail to protect your preferred days and hours, and we will win.

But we can only protect HACSU members. If you've got colleagues who could be affected by the roster changes, encourage them to join HACSU and let's make our union stronger together.

Stay tuned for our next update. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us through HACSUassist on 1300 880 032 or at assist@hacsu.org.au

For more information about this or any other industrial matter, members should contact HACSUassist on 1300 880 032 or email assist@hacsu.org.au or complete our online contact form
