Can you be one?

We're looking for 6 new delegates per region to represent HACSU members covered by the Ambulance Award.

Our next AESB AGM will be held on 21 August in Launceston but, due to the size of the room, no general members are allowed to attend, so we’ll have a Zoom link that will be open for the formal AGM part of the meeting from 10.30–11.30 am - we’ll send the Zoom link closer to the day.

In order to understand what’s going on and what’s important in your workplace, we need a better delegate network so all the work doesn’t fall back to the few executive members - as AT grows, so must we.

Workplace delegates enable us to get a better flow of information to and from members, help identify safety issues and quickly deal with industrial breaches and improve change consultation processes.

Being a workplace delegate is a good opportunity to learn more about how AT and the union operates, and workplace delegates often go onto become AESB executive members or managers, because the skills you learn as a delegate can be very valuable.

We're now accepting nominations for workplace delegates and you can nominate via the delegate pack forms here. You and your nominators must be current financial members of HACSU for the process to be valid.

This is real opportunity to play a part in your union.

Nominations are open now and remain open until Monday, 24 August.

Please return forms to admin@hacsu.org.au or your executive delegate, we’ll advise if elections are needed.

If you have questions please contact Chris Kennedy or call HACSUassist on 1300 800 032.

For more information about this or any other industrial matter, members should contact HACSUassist on 1300 880 032 or email assist@hacsu.org.au or complete our online contact form
