All bans that members have put in place due to safety concerns are still active.

Of note are the night time transfers and ramping procedures as feedback suggests that this is becoming a bigger and bigger problem.

Also given the recent disputes, we want to remind members that the AESB executive and members have recently endorsed the following bans too, and they are in effect:

  • CRU: Members will not work 12-hour day shifts, instead members will advise management they intend to work a 10-hour day shifts and that local management should liaise with HACSU about resolving the dispute.

  • TA: Unless TA is paid, both Time and Klms, members are to commence duty at their home station, to relocate to the alternate station in a service vehicle and to complete all travel within the nominated duty length. Do not travel in your own vehicle unless there is confirmation compensation will be paid.

To be clear, we do not agree with recent correspondence about unilaterally ‘clustering’ stations in the north west.
