We're here to help

You’ve probably heard that the State Government have begrudgingly agreed to set up a parliamentary inquiry into ramping after pressure from ambos, the community, and our union.

They’re calling it a Transfer of Care Delays Inquiry, and despite the way the government want to spin it, it’s focused on ramping and bed block.

We’re writing a substantial submission, and your colleagues on the HACSU Ambulance Employees Sub Branch will be there with us when hearings kick off to tell our collective story.

But we also know that the only way this government is going to get the real effects of this crisis through its head is by having ambos give individual submissions and speak out.

Your submission does not have to be a novel (or even an essay) and we’re happy to help guide you through it where we can.

We’ll have more information and a draft of our own submission out to you for feedback soon – but most importantly we’re keen to make sure that you’re at the forefront of this inquiry, because you’re the ones who experience this crisis every day.
