As members will recall from the update last week, the new membership fee structure will begin with pay period 3, due to be paid on 13 August.

The new rates are:

Part-time     <23 hrs a week (all classifications)                          $22.00

1              Intern Paramedics / EMDSO / EMD                          $29.00

2              Paramedics / Team Leader Comms                          $34.00

3              ICP and BSO Paramedics                                          $38.00

4              All other classifications (above ICP 7)

                BSO ICP/CSO/ECP/Flight/Education/Management   $41.00

As this system relies on classification and hours of work, we need to confirm members are in the right membership band.

Part-time workers who work 1 day and 1 night a block or less will be part time, those who work more than that will likely be somewhere in bands 1-4.

We may need to talk to casuals to get it right.

This is about members' current substantive or contracted position/hours, not temporary HDA roles.
