Here's what we're doing

You may know that low-level industrial bans and industrial action are underway. At the moment the actions we’re approved to take are:

  1. Chalk writing, as per published slogans
  2. Non-urgent inter hospital transfers banned 12am-6am
  3. Wearing HACSU branded or coloured clothing in lieu of uniform
  4. Distribution of campaign material to patients and families

Chalk writing (approved slogans only) are:

  • Stop ramping
  • Let paramedics save lives
  • Can’t save your life when I’m ramped
  • Ask us about our response times
  • Underfunded, under-resourced
  • My home station is ________
  • Where is your nearest paramedic?
  • This ambulance was ramped for “X” hours today

You can send photos of your chalked vehicles to photos@hacsu.org.au

Remember to keep an eye out for further advice about membership meetings which will be scheduled in the next week to discuss the ongoing lack of progress on your EBA.

We welcome feedback from members about this or any other issue – you can email us at assist@hacsu.org.au or call on 1300 880 032.
