Our nurses deserve better

We’re kicking off our community campaign tomorrow, Thursday 31 August, to pressure the government to get moving on your agreement.

Right now, the government are still playing coy with your negotiations – even though every day that passes you’re the ones that suffer from their constant delays.

It’s time to fix the chronic retention and attraction issues that you face day in, day out.

It’s time to fix the pay that you’re being offered, fix the multi-disciplinary allowance and bring your Sunday loading into line with the rest of the THS.

Otherwise, the government’s current low-ball offer will only see things get worse.

Now we need you to get involved and join the campaign to stand up for better pay and conditions in your workplace – let’s flood social media and remind everyone that while the government called you the heroes of the pandemic, they haven’t treated you like heroes since.

Once you’ve printed them, make sure you snap a shot of you and your colleagues holding the signs and send them through to us at assist@hacsu.org.au

We’ll be out across the state talking to you during our action, but in the meantime keep an eye out for updates and make sure you get involved in HACSU’s campaign for better wages and conditions.

For more information about this or any other industrial matter, members should contact HACSUassist on 1300 880 032 or email assist@hacsu.org.au or complete our online contact form
