We kicked off negotiations last Friday for your new nursing agreement, and your fellow union members, Karen and Sharon, did a fantastic job representing you at the table. They highlighted the challenges that workers face and explained why it is so important that you get a fair pay rise and other important conditions, such as 200% shift penalties for working Sundays.

Your employer has committed to reviewing our log of claims and getting back to us in two weeks.

We also requested that your new Chief Executive Officer Kath Skinner attend future bargaining meetings so that she can understand the issues that nurses at the Hobart Clinic are dealing with.
