DSPL had to listen to workers

Congratulations on fighting for better wages and conditions for you and your colleagues.

When DSPL last put the agreement out for a vote you sent a resounding NO to the employer that they had to listen to. It was a substandard offer that would’ve seen conditions go backwards.

Since then, we continued to push the issues and concerns that mattered to you in the agreement with DSPL. Through your actions and by standing together, you were successful in getting your employer to move on their position – you forced them to put forward a better offer.

It’s great that workers took part in the voting process and had their voices heard. The agreement will be sent off to the Fair Work Commission for approval where we’ll be keeping an eye on the process to make sure it’s all above board.

If you have any issues once the agreement is implemented or if you believe they’re not sticking to it, call us via HACSUassist and let us know. We’ll be standing with you to keep your employer honest.
