There appears to be some trickery going on with management’s communications about bargaining.
To be clear, we believe that is not only premature but not in any worker’s best interests for the EA to be voted on at this stage, we do not agree that negotiations have concluded, nor do we agree that this is a satisfactory outcome of bargaining.
This is a rush-job at absolute best. It’s not bargaining in good faith, nor does it give you a genuine opportunity to make an informed decision before asking you to vote. These tactics have been used for a number of years within DSPL to fearmonger amongst hard-working staff. Enough is enough.
HACSU strongly encourages you and all your colleagues to vote no – and here is why:
We do not believe that your employer is being transparent or providing you with the appropriate information within the ballot material that has been provided to you. Again, we would strongly encourage every HACSU member to vote NO as this proposed EA is not in your best interest.
