Workers at Calvary called us asking about working on Christmas Day and public holiday rates, because they were told by 'someone' they would not be entitled to public holiday rates on Saturday 25 December.

You are most certainly entitled to be paid public holiday rates, and we contacted Calvary and they agree.

If you work on Christmas day and/or Monday 27 December and these are your rostered days to work you will be paid the public holiday rate which is double time and a half.
