Just a quick update to let you know what’s going on with the bargaining for your workplace agreement.

Your HACSU bargaining team has told Calvary in no uncertain terms that they need to go away and sharpen their pencils because the wages offer is unacceptable and certainly won’t pass the pub test.

While it seems some workers are getting a better pay increase because of new classifications, there are a large number of workers who don’t. With all the hard slog you’ve done over the COVID period and with the current increase to the cost of living, you deserve a decent wage increase.

Calvary have agreed to have another look at the wages offer and have confirmed that they are currently crunching the numbers and will get back to us early next week with a revised wage offer.
