It looks like management have failed to learn their lesson from the last roster changes. Yet again, they’ve failed to consult workers when they have made changes to the structure of your roster.
The Award is clear about consultation and it looks like we’re going to have to remind them that everyone has to follow the rules. Management are not above them, no matter what they may think.
We’re officially in dispute over the change which means that the status quo stays in place. That means your shifts stay as 14:00–20:00.
If management are not going to commit to following the right process, we’ll have to discuss the possibility of taking industrial action to remind them that they can’t just push you around.
