Let's talk soon

We got together last Friday and discussed our plan to tackle the crisis facing you in radiation therapy. At the meeting, we resolved to take action state-wide because we still hadn’t received a new offer from the government.

But after the meeting, we received a call from the Government’s negotiator who let us know that a revised offer would be made. Today we finally received their letter of offer outlining the new changes they’re proposing.

This latest offer undoubtedly came about because of the actions you’ve been taking every day to highlight the pressure you’re under – so well done for standing up and demanding more for RTs and the patients you support.

However, there’s still more work to be done. We’re currently analysing the latest revisions and we’ll give you some more detailed information as soon as we can, but in the meantime you can find the full government offer in an email we sent to members.

We’re going to get together again this Friday because we urgently need to discuss the latest offer and map what the process might look like for you to have your say on it. It’s important you come along and keep making your voice heard.

The meeting to discuss the latest offer will be held on Friday 17 March at 12pm - you should've received a link via email.
