Have your say about what's going on

The Commissioner for Children and Young People is conducting an independent investigation into the introduction of the current team case management approach model. As you may be aware, this model has changed the allocation of Child Safety Officers for young people in care in Tasmania – and we need to hear your thoughts on it.

Official submissions have closed but after meeting with the Commissioner earlier this week, we’ve set up a facilitated submission session where you’ll be able to share your lived insights into what’s really going on out there for kids at risk.

The session is via Teams and will be held at 11am on Wednesday 26 April and you should've been sent a link from us if you're eligible to attend.

We encourage you and your colleagues to have your say, especially because we believe there are some real issues in your area that need to be examined very closely.

We know how passionate you are about the people you look after, so don’t miss your chance to work closely with someone independent of the Department who genuinely cares about what’s really going on.
