The good news: the 2% wage cap is gone - just - but the bad news is everything else. The government is offering wage “increases” of 2% from December 2018, 2.25% from December 2019 and 2.5% from December 2020. In exchange it wants its workers to give up some public holidays and a number of other conditions. We're holding urgent meetings to run workers through the full offer and get their take on whether it’s acceptable and, if not, plan our next steps in the campaign.
