You probably know that Calvary are going through a major change with their workers at Sandhill and Riverside Views.

We’ve been in touch with Calvary to really try and get down to the bottom of where these proposed changes will be made.

Yesterday we met with Calvary management and following our meeting they provided us with a table that shows where hours will be increased and decreased with these new changes – only after we had to ask them for it multiple times.

It’s clear from the data that vital support roles like laundry and leisure and lifestyle are disproportionately affected by these changes – and this isn’t good enough.

We’ll be making sure Calvary give us more information about this as soon as possible so we’re able to advise and support you as Calvary works through the change proposal.

In the meantime, our advice is that you are not obligated to agree to any changes at this stage.

We’ll be out to see you next week to talk more about your concerns around this proposal – and we’ll be making sure we take your feedback from our meetings to Calvary as soon as possible.
