Regis' EBA delay

Despite our best efforts, Regis are still dragging their feet when it comes to your EBA negotiations.

You might remember that in December 2022 Regis’ dodgy EBA proposal went out to vote – and you sent a strong message and voted it down.

Since then, Regis have been forced to go back to the drawing board and they surveyed you about why you voted their deal down. As your bargaining reps, we’ve also let them know that their attempts to cut penalties, wages and back pay aren’t good enough – but since then they’ve only continued to sit on their hands and ignore you.

What’s even worse is that they’ve avoided meeting with us, and we’ve only been able pin them down once in the last 7 months to talk about your EBA. You deserve far better than their continued delays – especially given the current financial climate.

Now, we’ve told Regis again that they need to stop their dithering and get back to us ASAP with a serious offer for you to vote on.

Regis’ continued stalling is not bargaining in good faith – and if we don’t get another offer soon, we’ll be forced to take them to the Fair Work Commission so we can stop their delays.

We'll keep you updated on what Regis says, but in the meantime if you’ve got any questions, you can contact me via HACSUassist on 1300 880 032 or at assist@hacsu.org.au
