On Friday, we sent you an update where we told you to strike out the hours of work provisions in Schedule 1 of your contract and send genU a copy of your current roster stating the following:
“The number of hours to be worked and pattern of work (days of the week and starting and finishing times each day) that I agree with genU are as in accordance with the attached roster.”
Doing this makes sure that your hours are protected when genU propose a roster change.
At a meeting on Monday, we told genU that you should still be able to do this – even if you’ve signed and returned the contract without the amendment already.
If you’ve already signed your contract and you hadn’t made the change before signing it’s not too late to lock in your hours – so just make sure you send your current roster with Li-Ve to genU with the wording above.
If you have any other issues or questions about your contracts or about the transfer, please get in touch with us through HACSUassist. We’re here to help, so give us a call!
