The ballot on your Montagu agreement begins tomorrow morning at 8am. Members met today and overwhelmingly decided to urge everyone to vote NO. Workers have been rightfully angered by Montagu’s attempts to rush this through with just the minimum seven days’ notice, right before Christmas.

Even worse is their attempt to cut your current conditions, despite Montagu never mentioning them at earlier negotiations. They’re trying to sneak in the extension of sleepovers to ten hours, only paying you $11.25 an hour in compensation.

While we are still trying to find out more information from Montagu as to how you can vote, we believe you should receive an email or text tomorrow morning. We urge you to vote NO as soon as you can, because the ballot is only open until Wednesday 21 December at 8pm. It’s an extremely short voting period, and it’s really important you have your voice heard.
