After hearing from workers about OnTrack capping the maximum kilometres for travel allowance at 10 kilometres, we wrote to OnTrack immediately and questioned both the legality and the practicality of such a policy.

OnTrack gave us a curt reply: “Nothing to see here”, trying to dismiss our concerns. However, after discussing this with some members, more evidence has come our way, confirming that your employer is indeed capping your travel allowance.

We are now preparing to lodge an underpayment claim. Please contact us via HACSUassist on 1300 880 032 or at assist@hacsu.org.au if you have experienced a limitation on your travel allowance.

We will only be representing HACSU members in this matter, so we encourage you to chat with your co-workers and if they are not members, now is the time for them to join.

Unity is our strength. The more members we have, the better the outcome. Joining HACSU is now as simple as a few clicks: join.hacsu.org.au Together, we've got the power to take on OnTrack and stand up for what's right

For more information about this or any other industrial matter, members should contact HACSUassist on 1300 880 032 or email assist@hacsu.org.au or complete our online contact form
