We finally sat down with St Giles on Tuesday afternoon

After what seems like forever waiting, we finally sat down with St Giles on Tuesday afternoon to discuss the AHP agreement.

St Giles have provided us with a draft agreement, which brings a number of outdated elements of your current agreement in line with more contemporary conditions for health professionals and those who support them.

The main elements of the draft so far are:

  • A 3-year agreement to 2025 with 3% wage increase each year
  • St Giles propose that the age increase applies from July each year
  • All workers covered by the AHP agreement received a wage increase in July this year or at least should've
  • Improvements to parental leave, compassionate leave and allowance for vehicle use

We have some things to talk to workers about, and we need their thoughts on what St Giles have put on the table.

Keep an eye out for an invite to a membership meeting and be sure to get involved, so we can talk about what’s next.
